CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTS OF MULTINATIONAL BANKS AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION AND CLAIMS MANAGEMENT IN FIDIC CONTRACTS (MODULE-2)

The terms and conditions of FIDIC Contract have been increasingly used in international construction projects, particularly those carried out by the finance of the World Bank, the European Development Bank, the Asian Development Bank, Islamic Development Bank, the International Monetary Fund, the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development, Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank and similar international organizations. To be successful as a consultant, contractor, subcontractor, and other professionals associated with contract management in international projects requires experience in FIDIC Contracts.

This training has been designed to have basic and advanced levels and will last 3 days (24 hours). It has been designed to provide practical guidance for professionals in the management and administration of projects that require the use of FIDIC Contracts. The training covers the issues of understanding and defending conditions of FIDIC contract and resolving the claims in claims management, and working principles of the arbitration and dispute settlement board. This practical training is descriptive and exemplary for the construction contract’s FIDIC requirements in the following cases;

– FIDIC Construction Contract,
– FIDIC Design & Construction Contract,

The training aims to train qualified professionals for the sector in terms of working under FIDIC contract conditions and to enhance their confidence while working under FIDIC Contract conditions regardless of the participants whether they represent an investor, employer, consultant, contractor or sub-contractor. The training will be supported by brainstorming and group discussions on the case studies presented by the experienced instructors of Loop Academy as well as practical exercises that enable all participants to apply advanced knowledge practices and demonstrate their ability to manage the FIDIC Contracts.
